What "public" means per platform

• Instagram: public profiles and posts — Reels, photos, carousels, videos. Private profiles are inaccessible; Highlights and username-based Story lookup are not available yet.
• TikTok: public videos and photo slideshows. Private accounts are inaccessible.
• Facebook: public videos, Reels, and Watch links. Friends-only posts and private groups are inaccessible.
• Douyin: public videos and photo posts.
• YouTube: public videos, Shorts, and playlists. Private, unlisted, and age-restricted videos are rejected.

What Saveo never does

Saveo does not bypass private accounts, friends-only visibility, group membership, paywalls, or age gates. There is no setting, flag, or workaround for it. When a link needs more access than the public web provides, the downloader returns a clear error instead.

Why this matters

Downloading content you do not have permission to save may violate the platform's terms and the rights of the person who posted it. Saveo is a tool for public content you are allowed to save — nothing more.
